Scarab jewels have been part of my life for over 20 years. Janine, aided by my generous husband, brothers and mother, has created jewellery that has brought me so much pleasure on so many different levels. I love what Janine does with colour, I love the simplicity of her pieces, I love how she listens to what I want to wear and makes it work, I think she is a real craftsman in her trade, she has years of experience and yet the essence of Scarab never changes.

Every visit to the studio is a pleasure, whether to browse, get advice on reworking some old bits ‘n pieces or to have my jewellery cleaned (free service with a smile btw). Owner/designer Janine Davidson is such a giving spirit. Her artistry is evident everywhere. And her eye for loveliness shines true and through every piece.
